A compliance-critical migration
Multi-Experience Operations gave Acquia Site Factory customers a path off an end-of-life Drupal 7 stack that threatened their FedRAMP compliance. The frontend was not an isolated feature. It was the interface layer of a migration that had to keep several large enterprise customers on a compliant platform.
Five teams, one foundation
I led the frontend architecture and planned the work across five teams. The groundwork came first. I refactored Cloud Platform to support the new domain model and retired architectural debt that would have multiplied as each team added its part of the experience.
That foundation gave the teams a shared vocabulary for the new product area and a stable place to integrate. It turned the cross-team plan from a sequence of local features into one frontend system.
A shared quality baseline
The same effort established a common Copilot instructions baseline and automated, instructions-driven pull-request review. Contributions could be checked against the project’s conventions before reaching a human reviewer, which helped the quality bar survive the sudden increase in cross-team contribution volume.
